Shift left to UX on accessibility & Advancing UX

To all our UX friends,🍂🦄
We are pleased to announce the details about our next meetup, which will take place on November 22 at iO in Utrecht! Get ready for a talk about accessibility in UX with **Herman Eberstadt van der Velden** and a workshop on advancing UX with **Karine Cardona-Smits.**

**/// Talk: Shift left to UX on accessibility**
As a UX designer it is important that you design for everyone, no matter rather you have or don’t have a disability. This will make your user experience a better one, for the users of your design. **Herman** is an advocate for accessibility, and will speak in his presentation for example about how people with disabilities use apps and the web. Also about why accessibility is important and ofcourse how you as a designer can find guidelines and legislations to help you include all users.

**/// Workshop: Advancing UX through personal growth and performing teams**
In the second half of the meetup, we’ll get in gear for a workshop with **Karine**. In this interactive session, we’ll address the key challenges that you as designers and design researchers face to advance your practice and careers, helping you chart a path forward in your career. Whether you’re an individual contributor or a team lead, you’ll take a fresh look at your skills, gain insights into skill development and how to identify skill gaps. Together we will discuss priorities for advancing UX in our careers.
